We are an unconventional band: divided by the ocean and thousands of miles (as well as by pandemics and all the oddities of the modern age), and therefore unable to rehearse, play concerts and do all that makes the daily work of a traditional band.
For years now, we’ve had to approach making music in a very unconventional way. We work by video-call (each of us from our own bathroom so that we don’t bother too much those who live with us, but also to take advantage of the unsuspected acoustic qualities of those environments). When Alberto has a new song, he plays it for us over video-call and we usually spend a few hours jamming until we get something good out of it. We usually record this process and save these demos to use when we finally get time in a real studio.
It is incredible how what used to be a forced normality for us - which we considered rather absurd – ended up becoming everyone's normality during the period of the lock-down.
That is why we decided it would be worth documenting and sharing our creative process with a small video series called “The Bathroom Sessions”, which we posted on our YouTube channel during 2020.
These recordings (which are taken straight from the original videos, without any bells and whistles), are the living testimony of us being a sort of "non-band”, and we decided to collect them in this EP to celebrate one year from the release of our album "The Dark and The Water" (released for Fresh Yo! in December 2020) and as a gift and thank you for our fans and their patient support.
They are not perfect and they are not supposed to be, but they are as true as the passion we keep putting into it.

Siamo una band atipica: divisa dal mare e da migliaia di chilometri (oltre che dalle pandemie e dalle stranezze del mondo moderno) e quindi impossibilitata a fare prove, concerti e tutto quello che è il lavoro giornaliero di una band tradizionale.
Il nostro normale modo di lavorare e continuare a fare musica funziona così ormai da anni:
Ci ritroviamo in videochiamata (ormai d'abitudine ognuno dal proprio bagno, sia per non disturbare troppo chi vive con noi che per sfruttare le insospettabili doti acustiche di tali ambienti), Alberto ha un pezzo nuovo, ce lo fa sentire e il resto è di solito qualche mezz'ora di jam fino ad arrivare a qualcosa di concreto.
E' incredibile come quella che era per noi una normalità forzata che ritenevamo piuttosto assurda, sia diventata, nel periodo del lock-down, la normalità di tutti.
Quindi abbiamo deciso di documentare e condividere il nostro processo creativo con una piccola serie di video denominata “The Bathroom Sessions” pubblicata nel nostro canale Youtube durante il 2020..
Queste registrazioni (prese direttamente dai video originali), sono la testimonianza viva del nostro essere una sorta di “Non-Band”.
Abbiamo deciso di raccoglierle in questo EP per celbrare un anno dall'uscita del nostro album "The Dark and The Water" (uscito per Fresh Yo! nel dicembre 2020) e come ringraziamento per il vostro supporto.
Non sono perfette e non vogliono esserlo, ma sono vere come la passione che continuiamo a metterci.
